This is probably my favorite scene in the Gladiator movie. The real lesson here is that when you have to, you should be punching way above your weight class. In other words, set your sights on someone in your space that’s winning, and go after them.

It’s expected that they’ll fight back, and you’ll be in a David Vs. Goliath kind of match, where you’re expected to lose, so nothing really bad will come of it. If you win though, you’ll get what you were originally set out to accomplish, and I’d have to image being honored as a soldier of Rome would be kind of nice. Well without the whole having to get stabbed in the colosseum bit, but you get my point 😉
